INGREDIENTS (240 ml cup used)

Ingredients for Indian Tomato Chutney recipe(onion):
  • 1 medium onion sliced.
  • 1 tbsp of oil.
  • 3 large tomatoes(sliced).
  • 1/2 tbsp of skinned black gram or peanuts(urad dal).
  • 1 to 3 garlic(cloves).
  • 1 tbsp of chana dal(Bengal gram).
  • 5 to 6 red chilies (green chilies).
  • 1/2 tbsp of cumin(jeera).
  • 1/8 tbsp of Haldi(turmeric)as needed.
  • salt as needed of tomato chutney.
Tomato Chutney (Tempering):
  • 1 red chili (cut)
  • pinch hing(asafoetida)
  • 1 (Kadi Patta)spring curry leaves
  • 1/4 tbsp of mustard
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 1/4 tbsp of skinned black gram(urad dal)

Making Of The Indian Tomato Chutney:

  • Firstly take a pan and turn on the stove and heat the pan pour the 1 tbsp of oil.
  • Heat the pan on medium heat and add the chana dal to pan and add the half tbsp of urad dal until the mixtures are a golden color.
  • Add the 1/2 tbsp of sauteing and cumin for a few minutes. take it out a plate and set aside cool the complete heat pan.
  • And add the 5 to 6 chilies heat and fry the chilies.
  • Add the 2 garlic cloves and 1 cubed onion.
  • The onions are turned golden and add the 3 large ground tomatoes,1/3 tbsp of salts and 1/6 tbsp of turmeric.
  • cool the cooking pan and until the tomatoes are smother.
  • And the small amount of water and peanuts.
  • you like the chutney and tomatoes are very pulpy then you can skip the water.
