Ingredients (240 ml of cup used):

  • 4-5 boiled eggs.
  • 1/2 cup of gram flour.
  • 2 tsp of corn flour.
  • salt as needed.
  • Little amount of turmeric.
  • 1/8 tsp of ajwain/vammu.
  • 1/4 tsp of red chili powder.
  • 1/2 tsp of meat masala powder.
  • Water as needed.
  • Oil for deep frying.
To Blend:(Optional)
  • 1 medium sized onion.
  • 1 green chili.
  • 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
How To Make The Recipe:
Preparation:
  • First, Heat the pan and add some water add eggs for 5-10 minutes.
  • After boiling, slice the hard boiled eggs kept aside.
  • Pierce them with the fork randomly,4-5 times on each egg covering all the sides.
  • Blend all together onion, ginger garlic, chili with 2 tsp water to make a fine paste.
  • Mix all together besan, masala powder, rice flour, chili powder, salt, turmeric, and ajwain.
  • Add onion paste to this and make it batter using more water as needed.
Making Egg Bonda:
  • Heat the oil with the high flame, when the oil is hot enough, dip each slice in the batter.
  • Fry in hot oil until it turns the golden color.
  • Finally, hot egg bonda is ready to serve with chopped onions and lemons.
