A hot and spicy appetizer made with drummettes/whole chicken wings. this recipe making at home is our most preferred way to consume chicken. mainly we ordered in many restaurants appetizer as a chicken lollipop. but we don't know the quality of oil and the ingredients used.so best prefer this recipe at home and enjoy.this recipe is a fusion recipe and it is the combination of Indian style and Chinese style.

INGREDIENTS (240ml of cup used):

  • 1/2 kg chicken drummettes
  • oil as needed
marination:
  • 1-1/4 tsp of ginger garlic paste 
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp of red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  • 1/8 tsp of salt
  • 4 tsp of corn flour
seasoning:
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 3/4 tsp of ginger
  • 3/4 tsp of garlic
  • 1 tsp of soya sauce
  • 3/4 tsp of vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp of red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tsp of sugar
garnishing:
  • coriander leaves as needed

HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE:

preparation for chicken lollipop:
  • Add 3-4 tsp of yogurt to a bowl.mix it and pour the 1-1/4 cup of water and salt.
  • shift the chicken and soak for 1 hour to overnight to tender the chicken
  • drain off the buttermilk and marinate with marination ingredients except for flour.mix it well.
  • add cornflour with salt.
  • grill or fry the chicken in oven until cooked.
how to make the chicken recipe:
  • firstly, add 1-1/2 tsp of oil for seasoning and heat it.
  • saute ginger garlic until aromatic.fry the onions until it turns to golden color. onions fry make a paste of red chili powder with 1-1/2 tsp of water.
  • then pour vinegar and soya sauce.
  • next, add sugar and red chili paste.
  • pour water and cook till the sauce thickens.
  • add chicken drummettes and toss it.
  • finally, garnish chicken lollipop with coriander.
